Awana Cubbies

Miss Mae is in her second year of Cubbies at one of our local Awana clubs.  It is always the highlight of her week.  I love that she is hiding God's Word in her heart.  She gets so excited about saying her new verse each week.
This week, her verse is a bit longer than previous verses and she grew weary practicing it.  So, as added incentive, I told her we could make a video of her reciting it to show Granny.  :)  She was happy to say it over and over again until she got it just right.

Pumpkin Patch

We took our annual trip to our local pumpkin patch today.  I really look forward to this fall tradition each year.  Miss Mae looks forward to it too!  We were both excited to take Little O this year as well!

Last year, Little O came to the pumpkin patch in utero and was born less than 24 hours after I went on the hayride!  Ha!

Here are a few pictures of our day.

Just for fun, I have one more to share.  As Little O has joined our family and grown, we've had fun looking back at pictures of Miss Mae.  Every once in a while we find a similar shot.  Here is one:

Corn Harvest

Our local farm had a Harvest Festival/Corn Harvest this past weekend.  We had a great time picking popcorn and enjoying the other festivities.  We came away with 45 pounds of popcorn.  Ha!
Working in the corn field made us all appreciate modern civilization.  I'm so glad I can drive to the grocery store to buy food for our family!
Pickin' Corn
Our very full wagon!  We picked about 200 pounds of corn!  Half of the corn was left at the farm

Mr. Wrinkle Nose

We've been seeing this silly face a lot lately.  It always makes us laugh.  :)
